Alec Lightwood didn’t think he would ever get used to being spoiled by his boyfriend. Being with Magnus Bane had certainly broadened his horizons as far as traveling to new places, eating new foods, trying new things. Nights like this were rare these days, what with all the work that came with being Head of the Institute. But Alec made time for Magnus. It probably helped that his sister took on more shifts and she could easily do all the paperwork that piled up.
He smiled when he was pulled past the threshold, shaking his head at the warlock’s playful comment. “I can’t even open a door for you?” He replied with an arched brow. His hands already settling quite comfortably over Magnus’s hips, resting there for now, but the threat of pulling him in closer loomed.
“Relax. You’ve taken me out to dinner, you even paid for the meal and indulged our long walk back. Consider me thoroughly spoiled.” He leaned in, bending just slightly to engage in a chaste kiss, his lips curling into a smile against his boyfriend’s as he pulled back. “Which begs the question, when can I start spoiling you?”
