Saire was zoning out as Caine announced their newest adventure. his head resting in his hand while his other hand was busy scratching his little rat companions behind their ears.
his gaze wandered over their little gathering, before eventually lingering on the newest character..Bani.
"TODAY'S ADVENTURE IS: CANDY CARRIER CHAOS!!"
Caine announced with much confetti and fanfares as the title of the adventure appeared above his head in big, pink letters.
he continued to explain that the inhabitants of some kind of 'candy kingdom' were robbed by a group of bandits. robbed of their maple syrup..
the jack-in-the-box sighed at that premise and noticably rolled his eyes.
the rats beside him squeaked as he voiced his obvious disinterest.
"what a creative idea.." he mumbled sarcastically, which the toothy ringleader had apparently heard, as he pointed at Saire with a comically large hand, yelling "why thank you Saire!! I knew you out of everyone would love it!!"
he heard it..but didn't pick up on the sarcasm..
"what do you mean me out of-" but Saire got rudely cut off as Bubble commented "an entire kingdom made of candy! sounds..sticky!"
Caine nodded "very sticky indeed!!"
Bubble continued by adding "sounds-" but instead of any comprehendable words, only a loud beeping was heard as Bubble's mouth moved..
Saire made a disgusted sound as he backed off from the two.
he heard quite enough.
"the sooner we get this over with the better.." he muttered to himself.
Ragatha, who stood beside the boxed man, frowned. "oh come on, give it a chance! it sounds like fun!" she said, then glanced over to Bani. "what do you say? are you excited for your first adventure?" from her expression, it was apparent that the dolly wasn't the best at small talk.
