I just realized that it’s been over two months since I’ve posted a pic of a banjo. The past six weeks or so have definitely been an adjustment since the kid has been homeschooling and my wife is still (fortunately) working full time. Not to mention my band tours have been cancelled. That doesn’t mean banjos aren’t being made though... I just assembled a batch of a dozen Brainjos and prepped them for shipping, and am making slow progress on a couple of custom commissions. Thanks to my clients for your patience, and I hope I haven’t disappointed my followers who are expecting tons of #banjoporn lol. We are taking it one week at a time and I hope to see many of you in person sometime soon 🤟 . #cedarmtnbanjos #brainjo #banjobuilder #workfromhomedad (at North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_xnSPlhH3q1NOmPJjU37DvNo0UWSQVFZhs8XQ0/?igshid=1890x92l9scqc
Here’s a little sneak peek at what’s coming next from CMB. It’s a special edition L model with a nice embellishment on our flagship moon and stars design by the insanely talented engraving artist @gcarsonbanjo. I’m hoping to have this one ready for sale by the holidays. Holla if you’d like more info about it. #cedarmtnbanjos #banjobuilder #inlay #engraving #moonandstars #custombanjo (at North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/B45P3CABLa5_qs6YKOtqrPsvrL6mw6iSVF58QM0/?igshid=1100bpp4qdavi
Our L model necks are still made pretty much the same as they were 20 years ago. #46 on the left and #809 on the right. And Cheetos.. #cedarmtnbanjos #banjobuilder #luthier #vintagebanjo #banjo https://www.instagram.com/p/B2mJTexBHWNmChtvOP8gs6xYqfQ7nQEsiN3GwA0/?igshid=13dlctagyoma

Got this cool old Vega tenor in that the client wants me to build a five string neck for. Haven’t done one of these in awhile, should be a fun project. #banjobuilder #vega https://www.instagram.com/p/BuTsDG3F4YzB_z_G3QBiUU86I4QjLHm5CgZV4U0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1k8u24fh1yktk
