Four Generations of the Banks Dynasty

This is the little side project that I've been working on. I took new family pictures for each generation (which was challenging because I had to find my old saves and track down the old CC I used). These pics are now on my Banks Dynasty family pages here on Tumblr and my website. Introduction to the first ‘infants’ born in the Banks Dynasty...

Thanks again to @storiesbyjes2g for creating Stefan, especially for my sim Jamelia. When we talked about her making a spouse for Lia, we planned on them having fur babies only. But later we discussed the possibility of them actually having kids. I'm glad we didn't stick with the original plans because together they made the cutest babies ever!

I did not name the babies. The names were random, but I did choose their first traits. Kyra is wiggly, Blaze is cautious, and Jackie is sensitive.

I chose Melisa “Me-Me” Banks because my poor girl works so hard as an engineer, wife, and mother to three boys that she doesn’t get much time for self-care and playing with different styles. So this is her chance!

I’ve been around a long time, but it still seems time has passed too quickly. I don’t know what my elder years will bring me, but it won’t be retirement. I plan to continue working hard as long as I can.

After she’s eaten some of the ribs I cooked earlier, Dray bounds down the stairs and sits down next to me.

Drake: Bad news, dad - I don’t have enough for another badge yet. We need to go back out and catch more fish.

Kai: What? Right now?

Drake: Yes! I need this to happen so I can get another badge.

Kai: Your scout meeting isn’t until Saturday. You still have time to earn that badge.

Drake: Are you sure? Because it’ll be your fault if I don’t.

Kai: My fau - listen, I’ll help you earn the badge when you come home from school tomorrow. I promise.

We now say goodbye to Merlin ‘The Knight’ Brown and Jalisa ’The Voidcritter’ Wells-Brown (BDC | AFC | Banks Day 18.3 - Day 58.3 & 65.3)**. Theirs was a love story reminiscent of a fairy tale. They met during the 28 Blind Dates Challenge and fell in love without ever seeing one another. After the challenge, they married and had triplets; a boy and two girls - including Kai’s wife, Melisa. Both Merlin and Jalisa excelled in their careers and their child-rearing. Their marriage wasn’t without its challenges, but they rose above them and remained happily in love until the end. They are survived by their three children, one daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law, and seven grandchildren.

There are only a few more days until Dub becomes a young adult. He’s looking forward to leaving some things of the teen years behind, like acne, school, and homework. But quickly running out of time for things like getting to know Perla better. Dub doesn’t know exactly what he wants to do with his life, but he can almost guarantee he won’t spend it here in Henford for much longer.
