Baragatan Festival 2011 Opening Parade

- Yesterday was the start of one of the most anticipated event in Palawan. The Baragatan Festival - a cuyunon dialect which means "Get together / Meet in one place" it is a yearly event wherein all the municipalities are required to join.

The parade was participated by:

Government Officials

Provincial Gov't Employees

Non-government Organizations

Schools

and common Palaweños

The Opening parade showcased the creative way of every municipalities on how they we're able to introduce their place by creating this floats made by their own local products. 

Ms. Roxas, Palawan - one of the most beautiful smile i've seen yesterday and oh, i must say she really is the darling of the crowd.

The winning float from the Municipality of Brooke's Point - a giant coconut complete with its bunot, shell & coconut meat.

The crowd went wild as the Provincal Capitol employees danced on the street along with Gov. Baham Mitra & Vice Gov. Fems Reyes...

The Palawan Beauties - reigning Ms. Palawan Luigi Lauron along with the other beauty titlists. 

...and finally us! Outside our office with Mgr. Jacky, Mary Ann & Precious. It was a very festive day despite the rain.
