“Blessed are the curious for they shall have adventures.” – Lovelle Drachman
It’s not easy to admit but I think we got addicted to travel and adventures. It’s hard to ignore those cheap fare popping in your yahoo mail and facebook newsfeed. You’ll try to do the mock booking but you end up booking it for real. The struggle is true but it’s all worth it.
There is always a misconception of travelling needs a lot of money but believe me you don’t need to be rich to discover new things! 🙂 A little help of google, strategy and patience just like what we did in our Cebu trip. 🙂
We were with my brother and his wifey who was pregnant that time by the way, so we have restrictions in terms of some activities. Of course, I also don’t want something bad to happen. 🙂 Before this trip, I warned them that we’re not staying in a 5 star hotel nor having our own car to travel the other part of Cebu, we just want to set the expectation clear. 🙂

We arrived in South Cebu at 5’o clock in the morning, tired and exhausted from the bus trip we had but it should never be the reason not to enjoy the beautiful place of South Cebu. We juts put our bags in our room, had a quick breakfast and ready to go. 🙂
Basdaku White Beach- 6:00 AM :p
Don’t miss the snorkeling in Pescador island it has a beautiful sanctuary of marine life.
On our way to Kawasan Falls 🙂
A bit crowded but it did not fail to amaze us. 🙂
Free body massage slash body ache! 😀
We ended our 1st day in South Cebu with this beautiful falls. 🙂 I’ve seen Canyoneering activities in the internet but when the time we visited Cebu, it was not yet popular to the tourists, saw Drew did it and even if I really wanna try that time we can’t let pregnant person to do this kind of stuff. 🙂 (But guess what, after 10 months I came back and conquered Canyoneering!)
We woke up so early to meet the famous gentle giant of South Cebu. I remember checking out on our homestay as early as 3’o clock in the morning. We texted the local tricyle driver we met during our stay in Basdaku so he can drop us to the highway to catch the bus going to OSLOB.
Before the encounter there is a short briefing for the DO’s and DON’Ts while swimming with the whale shark. Remember not to touch any part of the whale. 🙂
A lady mermaid & whale shark. 🙂
