#Bijapur's #BaraKaman is an unfinished #mausoleum of Ali Adil Shah II, his wife Chand Bibi and his daughters. Ali Adil Shah II intended to build a mausoleum for himself, of unmatched architectural quality, where 12 arches would be placed vertically as well as horizontally surrounding the tomb. However, the mausoleum was never completed and only two arches were raised vertically. After the arches were erected, the inner arches were toppled, leaving only the outermost arch. After the emotional turmoil that as the FMA Brotherhood, roommate and I have been looking for an anime that is fun and cute and we’ve settled on Barakamon. A+ would recommend! If domestic fluff is your favorite kind of fic, then you’d enjoy this. The first episode’s a little weird, but it settles down quickly.

It’s about this Japanese calligrapher that gets a really bad review on a piece of his art and kind of has a bit of a mental breakdown? It’s funnier than it sounds.... he’s very emotionally delicate... So he goes off to small island town to rejuvenate. The town is full of a lot of odd people who like to give him a hard time, and there’s these group of kids that pretty much adopt him. It’s great because for all that he’s an adult he’s kind of a brat so it’s good for him to get out of his comfort zone.

Mostly the story is about daily life on the island and him getting to know the residents. I think what really makes this show is that the dude is actually incredibly sweet. The kids are always bothering him but he’s never mean to them and he really takes joy in his calligraphy work when he gets past the anxiety. Plus there’s an otaku girl (she appreciates the ARTISTRY OK she’s not REALLY an otaku) that ships him with the high school boy that’s his neighbor who feeds him and usually catches the calligrapher when the klutz falls over. The whole show is too damn sweet
