Lang geleden werd Brabant niet alleen door mensen en dieren bewoond, maar ook door kabouters. De Brabanders waren dol op de kabouters, omdat de kleine knaapjes graag klusjes voor anderen deden. Het liefst deden de kabouters deze klusjes ongezien, en er gingen geruchten dat mensen die de kabouters probeerden te bespiedden de ogen werd uitgestoken. Het is dus niet verwonderlijk dat de kabouters er bij de plaatselijke bevolking ook om bekend stonden dat zij bijzonder snel beledigd waren.

Op een ongelukkige dag wilde een plaatselijke jager wild gaan schieten op de hei nabij Riethoven. Maar toen hij een schot loste raakte hij niet het wild dat hij in het vizier had, maar raakte hij een kabouter. En het was niet de eerste de beste kabouter die hij raakte; het was de kabouterkoning Kyrië. De zwaargewonde Kyrië kon zichzelf nog met pijn en moeite richting de duivelberg slepen, alwaar hij zijn laatste adem uitblies. Vanaf de duivelberg kon de plaatselijke bevolking het gejammer van de kabouters horen: "Kyrië is dood! Onze koning is niet meer."

De kabouters waren ontroostbaar, en diep verontwaardigt omdat de jager niet beter had opgelet. Diep in de nacht pakten alle kabouters hun biezen om het Brabantse land te verlaten, want zij wilden niet meer onder een bevolking wonen die hun koning zo oneerbaar aan zijn einde had laten komen. En sindsdien moeten Brabanders de kleine klusjes rondom het huis allemaal zelf opknappen, de kabouters zijn er immers niet meer om hun een helpende hand te bieden.

In Overloon vinden we nog steeds de kabouterberg, waar Kyrië zijn laatste rustplaats heeft. En verspreid door het dorp vinden we op allerlei plekken standbeelden van kabouters, en van hun koning Kyrië.

Long ago Brabant was not only inhabited by humans, but also by gnomes. The people of Brabant were fond of the local gnomes, for they liked to do all sorts of chores for the people. The gnomes favored to do these chores unseen, and rumor had it that those who tried to spy on the gnomes got their eyes poked out by them. So one will not be surprised to learn that the locals saw the gnomes as a race that was easily insulted.

One unfortunate day a local hunter wanted to shoot game on the meadows near Riethoven. but as he fired, his shot did not strike the game he was aiming for, but a gnome. And it wasn't just any gnome he hit: it was the gnome king Kyrië. The fatally wounded Kyrië dragged his body towards the duivelberg, and it was there he died. Coming from the duivelberg the locals could here the mournful cries of the gnomes: "Kyrië is dead! Our king is no more."

The gnomes were inconsolable, and deeply outraged because the hunter did not pay closer attention. Late at night they packed their belongings to leave the land of Brabant, for they did not wish to live among a people so dishonorable that they would allow for their king to meet his end in such a nasty way. And ever since the people of Brabant have to do their chores around the house all by themselves, without the help of the gnomes.

In the town of Overloon we still find the kabouterberg (gnomes mountain), where Kyrië has his last resting place. And spread throughout the town we can find all sorts of statues of gnomes, and of their king Kyrië.

L’ENNUIE.

Définition de mon poto Wikipedia :  L'ennui est un sentiment de démotivation et de désintéressement. « Ennuyer » est issu du bas latin inodiare, qui signifie « être odieux ».

MA définition : L’ennuie se matérialise par un manque de désintérêt pour se qui se passe autour de nous ou, peux au contraire se manifester par un manque d’activité. 

Vous vous demandez sans doute pourquoi j’ai poster la définition du mot ennuie de Wikipedia, et du mot ennuie avec mes mots ? Pour la simple et bonne raison quand se moment, ou que je sois et quoi qu’il se passe : JE M’ENNUIE. Je ne sais pas trop si c’est du a mon emploie du temps répétitive ou au manque d’action dans ma vie en se moment, mais dans tout les cas, je déteste m’ennuyer. C’est barbant.
