Another barbaric attack inflicted by Russia on civilians in Ukraine. To reiterate once again, the U.S. Congress must approve additional aid for Ukraine now. 🇺🇦😢💙💛💔🇺🇦

During the night of Feb. 10, 2024, Ukraine was subjected to a Russian attack employing 31 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs from the temporarily occupied Crimea and the territory of the Russian Federation. Ukrainian forces managed to destroy 23 Shahed drones within the Odesa and Kharkiv regions.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that the Shahed kamikaze drone strikes caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv. Fifteen residential homes were engulfed in flames, leading to large-scale fires.

Tragically, the Russian attacks claimed seven lives, including two children, 7 and 4 years old, and an infant of 6 months old. Additionally, three persons sustained injuries, but more than 50 people were rescued from the affected areas.

Tonight, Russia targeted 35 Shahed drones and 99 missiles of 7 different types on our cities. That included 10 aeroballistic Kinzhal missiles, superfast Russian weapons, all of which Ukrainian defenders successfully downed.

No country in the world has ever fought with such weapons before. No country in the world has repelled such attacks before. Ukrainian Air Forces are heroes! Glory to our defenders! 🇺🇦💪

On Dec. 13, 2023, a Russian missile attack on Kyiv at 3 a.m. local time left 53 injured, including eight children, said Mayor @vitaliyklitschko via his official Telegram channel. At least 20 were hospitalised, including two children, while the rest received treatment on the scene.

Ukraine’s Air Force - @air.force.ua.official shot down all 10 ballistic missiles launched at Kyiv, as well as 10 Shahed drones, nearly all of which were downed over the Odesa region.

According to Klitschko, the Russian attack on Kyiv damaged a high-rise residential building, two private houses, a kindergarten, a hospital, and several cars.

#Repost @kyivindependent_official with @use.repost . . . As of 11 p.m. local time, the number of wounded in the Russian missile attack on Chernihiv on Aug. 19 has risen to 144 people, including 15 children and 15 police officers, the National Police reported. The attack killed seven people.

The search and rescue operation is reportedly complete, according to authorities.

According to Chernihiv Oblast Governor Viacheslav Chaus, 41 people were hospitalized.

Russian forces targeted the city center of Chernihiv in northern Ukraine on the morning of Aug. 19, killing at least seven people, including a six-year-old child.
