Went to a thrift store today and took home these three messy ladies. There are so many dolls there with missing limbs and gnawed off noses, it's breaking my heart. 😭

Superstar is the Barbie of my childhood, and it's actually only the second time I'm finding one at the local thrift store, so I'm glad I did today. She was soooo dirty but she cleaned up pretty nicely.

Belle completely changed her style. 😄

Barbie GG/CEO is just gorgeous tbh.

Waverly “...unless, haha!” - Hawaiìan Fun Barbie with stripped hair and superstar mold - Nitrolime green (higher denier), Pineapple/Sunflower yellow mix (leftover from Falbala commission), pink shock saran (higher denier).Original blonde base removed except for a 1cm diametre circle in the middle and the fringe, cut 2cm of stripped hair off the end, thatched front line in bangs, slight green to yellow gradient parting which I didn’t properly photograph -and she also needed heat setting- because this is a quickly put together vent/poppet doll who I hope has been imbued with the patience and gratitude my migraines are sapping up*.

*I don’t actually believe in sympathetic magic but everytime I slap some colour on a Superstar, I’m doing what kid-me would have wanted from the pink aisle instead of a sea of toothy tan blondes.
