“Here’s a story that’s out of this world, just hours ago an area man captured amateur footage a UFO and several eye witnesses reported the strange object hovering over their upscale South Island neighbourhood. Would it be ET or just an elaborate hoax? You decide ha ha Chuck?”

Barbara Qantas is an Australian American working for Chanel 5 Action News as co-anchor to Chuck Scarsdale. She is poised, professional and will straight up read the news like a pro even when her co-anchor is freaking out. We don’t know much about Barbara as a character but she appears humble, pro-justice and has an upper middle bogan accent.

“We could sure use your super help!”

Barbara Qantas alter ego is Barbie-Q, a play on her fire abilities, the American toy the Barbie the doll and a popular Australian icon the BBQ. We don’t know her fighting ability but she is a part of the Super Gang, this group includes Captain Sunshine who is the Mighty Monarch’s real adversary. It is revealed she is made of plastic and not really human and some have suggested she is related to Torrid because they are both Australian and fire types. She was kidnaped by Nero but has since escaped and her whereabouts are unknown.
