The monsters within us: day 1 and night 1
So I thought experiment a little and design a fnaf-style horror game based on my monster ocs.
The premise is simple. You play as a woman named amanda romano, a security guard and superintendant at an apartment complex who must survive a week at the monster infested complex until help arrives to rescue her.
It's split into two segments: daytime and nighttime. Daytime segments are free-roam sections that require you to collect materials and resources you need to survive in your diy hideout, while avoiding diurnal monsters.
The nighttime segments are sit and survive sections that require you to fend off the nocutnral monster from getting into your hideout.
With that out the way, lets get started!
Day 1
Day 1 is pretty simple, just click objects to interact, and you can move from room to room by clicking on them. You also have a map to guide you around, and a list of items you need to collect. Just one problem...you aren't alone.
Meet the serpentipede
Formerly a little girl named olivia tamaki who rollerskated for fun until a car accident left her paralyzed from the waist down. Her desire to use her legs again and run like she used to manifested in her becoming a mulitlegged serpent that was as fast as a bullet train.
She isn't out to get you but she doesn't exactly keep pedestrians in mind when running and has a habit of trampling anybody who doesn't get out of the way in time.
You'll hear a sound cue that she's coming from rumbling noise, and when you hear it, click on a hidjg spot in the room your in to get out of the way before you get turned into roadkill.
So look for the items and avoid seroentipede and you be golden!
Night 1
Night 1 has you in your office-turned-hideout and has a door, window, camera system, vent shaft, flashlight, and closet. For now only the door and cameras are relevent.
The bottom line is, you do not want anything getting through your door. The thing in partciular being the barbwired devil:
Formerly a man named chris lockheed who is from a rough neighborhood that never gave him a moments peace. His desire to be something nobody could hurt or bother manifested itself in his form being an indedtructible tank literally armed to the teeth in biological weaponry.
Your barricaiding door won't stand a chance against him, so you gotta keep him away somehow.
In the cameras, you can remotely activate fire alarms via a button, which will draw the barbwired devil to the camera it came from should he be in the adjacent camera.
You see, his eyesight is poor, and he relies on his other senses to navigate his environment. This means he's especially responsive to loud noises.
So just use the fire alarms to keep the devil away from the door and you'll live to fight another day.
