i think it’s really sad how i let people convince me that daenerys was going to go “mad” or “crazy” at the end of asoiaf just because i hadn’t personally read the books yet.  it was strange to me how the death of hazzea was used as a gotcha! moment of insanity,  using the conclusion of dany  (dehydrated, miscarrying, hallucination)  “forgetting” her name was the beginning of her arc into madness.  it was strange to me how dany’s understandable discomfort & paranoia about her surrounding is used as a connection to her father,  as if the poisoned locusts weren’t proof enough that her cautiousness was understandable.

yet,  no one ever said how kind dany still was,  how open she still was,  how opposed to things other characters had already done she still was.  no one talked about her wanting justice or peace,  or how she married hizdahr to connect herself further to meereenese culture.  i think most all was leaving out that she wanted her “throne” by her people,  how she visited the sick astapori who sought refuge at the gates of meereen.

huh  . . .  i wonder why that is  . . .   couldn’t be the overwhelmingly negative metas pushed out & supported by “fandom hypeslayers” & “self-proclaimed readers of the winds of winter” that oversaturate everything ,,,

Ok. So i called out. Except i got told no. Annnd even though im still having to come in this still counts as my 5th for the year and if i call out again before the end of the year, i get written up.

Meanwhile, theres a coworker whos just.. Straight up no-call no-showed SEVERAL TIMES and is always late and just sits on his phone. Annnd i think hes only been written up once.

i always hated it in school when the teachers made me do a handwritten rough draft and then staple that to my printed out final draft because my rough draft and final draft were always exactly the same
