OP: My bargaining vs. my mom's bargaining (cr 来瓶杨乐多)
Strikes aren’t selfish: they’re a last resort.
We hear it every time workers go on strike. “They’re being selfish.”“They’re hurting the public.”“They should just be happy to have a job.” But let’s get something straight: nobody wants to go on strike. The way his attitude with the Buffybot changed, and how closed off he was with her, showed a really noticeable shift in Spike’s evolution, especially regarding his feelings for Buffy.
The Buffybot was a lie. I like the fact that once he got to be close to the real Buffy, got her trust and respect, he could not settle for a lie anymore. During the course of season 5, his feelings got more authentic, and what started as an unhealthy obsession, with the gross idea of building a bot, grew into something deep and real.
This scene was there to underline that change and how deeply hurt he was by her death.
Me begging the writers for an ounce of Creloise in season 6.
