Reposted from @the_teepee_tales Today’s Lunch Menu: Spaghetti Aglio e Olio (Spaghetti with Garlic and Oil) with Cheesy Garlic Bread!! Recipe: •Prep: 15m •Cook: 20m •Ready in: 35 m Ingredients: 1. Pasta (our favourite is @barilla) 2. Water 2 lts 3. Olive oil 1/2 cup 4. Garlic thinly sliced 4 tbsp 5. Chilli flakes 1 tbsp, or to taste 6. Salt 7. Fresh Parsley chopped Method: * Bring a large pot water to a roaring boil. Add salt. * Cook spaghetti in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 12 minutes. Drain and transfer to a pasta bowl. * Keep 1/2 cup spaghetti water aside. * In your skillet, add olive oil. * While oil is still cold add finely sliced garlic. * Cook over low heat to slowly toast garlic, about 10 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low when olive oil begins to bubble. * Add spaghetti water. Cook & stir for another 5 minutes. * Add chilli flakes. * Stir red pepper flakes and cook for 4-5 minutes stirring occasionally. * Add your spaghetti to your olive oil and garlic. * Sprinkle parsley, which is totally optional. * Plate your spaghetti and enjoy!
