AŞK VE GÖZYASI, BOLUM 1: Did I tell you we have to go somewhere today? I went to the doctor... I have a brain tumor. I have three months to live. I'm dying…
Something I really love about the Turkish version is that unlike in the kdrama, where in the beginning I really thought she was a heartless bitch and he's a whipped goof and both have long had no feeling for each other (though eventually I shipped and it was way more complex), it is very clear here that the love for each other is very much there still, just buried under issues and her family and everything else. I actually love both of them from the start unlike in the kdrama where it took me a while to warm up to them.
(But also it feels more realistic overall and less cartoonish - I don't mean QoT wasn't great, it was, and it made me cry and all, but it felt not at all realistic, on purpose, if it makes sense. This feels different. I can imagine passing these people on the street.)
