Jose was the first one to transform and naturally it doesn't go well.

Not only does he have to deal with clothes being ripped and burnt to charcoal colored shreds, he also has to deal with his lycanthropic urges: howling, growling, and hunting. Luckily, the inhabitants sees a small glimpse of his humanity shown through the guise of a wolf, indicating that there is hope for the farmer to get back to his normal self.

A few days later, there was no cure, however he's slowly warming up to becoming more approachable, to the point he's willing to let anyone brush, play with his antennas and even stroke his fur. This results in him being extremely playful at times to the point where he can't help but wag his tail in excitement, lick someone on the cheek(as shown with him licking Cal), and even want to play catch with their hats.

Hopefully in time, this means he would be comfortable in showing his other side to his family.

Like Barktholomew, he wields the power of the raging storm. His agility, fists, and ground pounds feel like a combination of tornadoes and earthquakes combined. His flame throwing attacks make blowtorches look like simple lighters.

Overall, Jose has transformed from a jolly farmer to a gregarious puppy. But mess with the crops and the loved ones and he'll show how badly you messed up.

A Quick Balan Wonderworld Headcanon I Wanted to Get Off My Chest:

The Nega Bosses always respond to the opposite of what you tell them to do.

If you say:

“Go and find your friends and bring them here.”

They won’t do it.

But if you say:

“Do NOT go find your friends and bring them here.”

That’s more like it!

The key words? “Do” and “NOT”!

OK, So a few little details of the Balan Enchanted AU

•Balan and Lance's powers still WORK in the real world, however that gets them into trouble

• The characters were brought to the real world in various ways, but they don't exactly remember what they were

•The Longer that the Characters stay in our world, the more that Wonderworld and our world start to collide

•The Inhabitants can summon out their Negabosses when they need to, but the Negabosses are all in human disguises

Corruption starts at the heart (1/4)

So...potential minor spoilers for Balan Wonderworld ahead. But basically, it’s each of the inhabitants getting corrupted into their boss forms. Mostly inspired by the scene where Lance first corrupted a despondent Jose.

The storm stole everything from me....
