Here’s What’s Happening in Tucson This Weekend!

Snowing in Tucson? What better time to think about ice hockey!  Watch our Tucson RoadRunners Hockey Team take on the Bakersfield Condors tomorrow night at the Tucson arena.  Snow or no snow, this is the final weekend for the Tucson Rodeo.  Ram Mutton-Bustin and Junior Rodeo, followed by the Pro Rodeo competition and then the Barn Dance.  Get those boots warmed up then immediately head for more country dancing at Trail Dust Town tonight.  And since you’re in a country mood, Desert Diamond Casino presents Charlie Pride tonight at 8pm.

You like your music with vocals, spoken or sung, and with a simple beat and no instrumentation. You want simple lyrics including non-sense syllables.  No, it’s not your favorite rap artist!  It’s Doo Wop! Hear the famous doo wop songs of the 50’s and 60’s and also hear what some of today’s contemporary music sound like in Doo Wop tonight when The Fox Theatre presents The Doo Wop Project.

Forget paying $12 for one movie ticket and another $20 for a popcorn and drink. Head to The Screening Room for The Apex Short Film and Music Video Festival where $8 gets you 4 hours of film and music videos this Sunday.  For an out of this world video along with world music, catch the UA Presents Bella Gaia Sunday at Centennial Hall.

AND ALSO WHEN I GO ON HOLIDAY TO THE BEACH AGAIN OVER NEW YEAR I HOPE THE CHURCH PEOPLE ARE THERE AGAIN CAUSE LAST YEAR THEY HAD BARN DANCING ON THE BEACH ON NEW YEARS EVE AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN AND I HOPE THEY DO THAT AGAIN

I have had the best day! This morning I did my dance exercises for an hour which was so funny and then I went to college to pick up my bike and cycled to this warehouse where college was today (because we were practising in our performance space) and we came up with loads of really good material and practised loads and things. And then after doing that for 3 hours I came home and it was 3.20 (got home in literally 2 minutes as I cycled like a crazy mofo haha) and texted Immie and we went up the downs and went on a 2 hour walk and we had a picnic and just had such a nice time in the sun and I have just got home and about to picked up for babysitting in which I am going to get about £50 woop. I shouldn't be having such a good time 5 days before my English exam but ah well haha. This weekend I am gunna work and tomorrow night Imm and I are going to a barn dance (round 4) haha. Life is gooood.
