Here’s What’s Happening in Tucson This Weekend.
Fri 7/31 - Sun 8/2
Happy Friday Everyone!
With temperatures in the 100 plus range for the next week, make sure you are following these recommendations to remain comfortable and safe...
Stay hydrated to avoid heat-related illness. Cold water is the best thing to drink. Drink continuously throughout the day. Avoid caffeine and alcohol.
Use your pool often or take several cool baths or showers throughout the day to help keep your body temperature lower.
Keep your AC set to a comfortable level and leave your ceiling fans run day and night.
Choose light natural cotton bedsheets and linens to keep air circulating around your skin.
Avoid strenuous exercise. Do exercise lightly early mornings and after sunset.
Have a great weekend and stay safe everyone!
Warm Regards...Ann, Ron, Corilynn, and Desiree

Where do Tucsonans go when the temperatures top 100? To the top of Mt. Lemmon of course. Thanks to the efforts of the Sheriff's Dept, DOT, and the Forest Service, the road to Mt. Lemmon will open tomorrow. Activities may be restricted but with a high temp of only 70, we'll be there!
Hot weather and hot cars. If you can stand the heat, check out Crown Concepts Cars and Coffee tomorrow morning at Costco Drive. The cars will be safe I think but you will need tons of sunscreen, hats, masks, and about a gallon of water.
Ladies, get your disc golf game on! Tomorrow morning head to Santa Cruz River Park Disc golf course and join the Tucson League for Chicks Disc Golf club. If you can throw a Frisbee, and would like to join a fun group, while still maintaining a safe distance, you can try it out for $5. Discs are provided.
If it's your typical Friday pizza, salad, and a movie night, don't forget the $20 Dine-in/Take-out specials from some of Tucson's best eateries.
