I love Barnabos and I think that he is most creative version of a path of the beast barbarian I have seen but sometimes I can’t help but laugh a bit because everytime he rages I just think of this

Been thinking about Queenie March again, honestly the more I think about her the more I love her.

But here’s a hot take, she is literally the only reason any of those idiots are still alive

A more in depth analysis of her character and personality I might do for another post but for now here’s a brief list of things she did just off the top of my head.

Hunted food for the party and making clothing to make surviving int he cold easier.

Sticking to her morals by refusing to kill the cubs and being rewarded for that by being shown directions to civilisation.

Healing Skrimm after the windego fight

Telling Jornir to dive into the waters to save Barnabos even after Jornir insisted Barnabos was dead. (Queenie refused to give up on her friend and insisted it was worth at least checking)

Was a the main driving force in the ritual for bringing back summer (everyone else gave up if she didn’t persist the tree never would have grown and the ritual would have failed)

Shooting the worms off her friends before fighting the elder Brian.

Encouraging Jornir to not give up and leave the ship with her before it crashed. (Jornir gave up and thought he was fated to die there but she insisted their was still hope)

Gathering items for a ritual to save Jornir from the parasite in his head. (Again Jornir wasn’t certain but she insisted and the ritual was a success)

Recognising the hooded figure was Tishen and saving him before the others could kill him by accident (she was smart enough to put two and two together and took a big risk getting close to something the others saw as a threat without her weapon drawn but did it anyway because she was certain she was correct and wanted to save her friend from being killed, even if she had to risk being wrong and put herself in harms way when fighting an entity of unknown power)

Going out to find Daisy even though it was dangerous and going with her to the princess despite the risk because she didn’t want Daisy to go alone.

A running theme is Queenie’s perseverance, stubbornness and refusal to give up, when everyone else gave up she was the one to push forward, to insist there was still a chance and time after time she was proven right.

These points are all at the top of my head I know for a fact there’s more but I just want to get this out there, Queenie is amazing and I love her to death and I wish people would acknowledge what she brings to the party.
