There ain’t no easy way out 🐄🎸
Barnyard is one of my favorite childhood games and it’s still fun :D
Zoë's outfit for the prologue of my Barnyard fanfic.
My Barnyard OC - Elara (Otis and Maya's only cow-human hybrid daughter)
Introducing Elara, the biological bridge between two worlds. Unlike the barnyard’s typical gag-driven transformations, Elara is a striking, grounded hybrid. She possesses a slender, athletic human frame covered in a velvet-soft, black-and-white dappled coat, inheriting Otis’s iconic Friesian markings and Maya’s observant, soulful eyes.
Elara embodies a quiet dignity, eschewing antics for the serene wisdom of her mother and the natural leadership of her father. Her presence is a living testament to their sincere bond, serving as a soulful anchor for the barnyard's future.
My Barnyard OC - Maya (Otis' human girlfriend)
Maya is a compassionate wildlife rehabilitator who stumbles upon the Barnyard while tracking a displaced animal. Unlike the typical humans in the franchise, she is observant and grounded, possessing a calm energy that immediately resonates with Otis. Their bond is built on a quiet, mutual understanding; she recognizes his intelligence and leadership without the need for antics or disguises. Maya represents a bridge between their two worlds, offering Otis a sense of being truly seen. Their relationship is characterized by shared moments of serenity at sunset, providing a sincere, emotional anchor to Otis’s hectic life as leader. She is Otis' human girlfriend/love interest.
Meet Gary: The "Udderly" Mad Scientist
Gary is a neurotic, wild-eyed Holstein who traded his salt lick for a chemistry set. Convinced that cows are the rightful heirs to the "Space Age," he operates a secret laboratory hidden inside a hollowed-out hay bale.
While Otis is busy partying, Gary is busy perfecting his latest invention: the "Moognetizer," a device intended to attract snacks from the farmhouse but usually just ends up pulling the braces off Snotty Boy’s teeth. Though brilliant, Gary is easily distracted by shiny objects and has a recurring habit of accidentally turning himself invisible—leaving only his floating, confused udder behind.
