How my Friend Ruined the Bee-Movie. {Worth the Read}
I was at a sleepover with two of my friends. Y’all already know how wild Highschool girl sleepovers get. So the girl whose house we stayed at started reading the bee movie jokingly and I played instagram videos over her to get her to stop. She finally stopped and I said something along the lines of “the only reason why I played those Instagram videos was to get you to stop reading”. Little did I know what I had caused myself to get into.
She says “oh really?” and continues to read. Me and the other girl that were staying there tried everything in our power to get her to stop. Eventually we got so fed up with the obnoxious reading and left her bedroom. We sat in the living room with her mom and dad. I looked at the dog and remembered that they have a spray bottle full of water to spray the dog when he was bad. So I went and got it. Her dad had it filled with water and vinegar. Why? I couldn’t tell you.
I didn’t want her to smell like vinegar so I rinsed it out best I could but the water I put in the bottle still continued to smell like vinegar. I head back to her room and open the door with caution. I start spraying her with the vinegar tainted water and this makes her angry. So she picks up my stuffed llama plushie that her mom just bought me and uses it as a shield. So of course I stop. I wouldn’t want my llama to smell like vinegar. She continues to read as I retreat to the living room.
My next idea is to throw shoes at her. So I head back in her room and throw my basic girl black converse shoes at her. She feels threatened so she throws my backpack at me AND the shoes. I retreat back to the living room.
The other girl and I eventually went in and tackled her to try and get the phone. This was war. One that I was not willing to lose.
The tackling did not help because I’m weak af so we retreat. She’s still reading the bee-movie script after 45 minutes.
We sit in the living room for a bit listening to the muffled reading of Barry Bees journey. Her dad finally gets fed up and goes in and yells at her. She doesn’t move and continues to keep reading. What a freaking warrior.
After a while her mom, the other girl, and I go into her moms room and sit for a little bit. I sit by her bedroom door listening to her reading the script wondering when she will finish. Once she was in the last couple paragraphs of the script the other girl and I go in and sit. We start going through her makeup because we decided that we wanted to do makeup.
She finally finishes the script after an hour and forty-five minutes. She’s soaked in vinegar/water and she’s angry because she has to take a shower. She wipes her wet shirt on my arm and I tell “WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE A FOUR YEAR OLD” she stood there and stared into my soul until all of a sudden her dad comes in.
Her parents confront her about her mistake and they take her phone. She goes into the bathroom and immediately takes a bath. She sat in there for a good 45 minutes and cried as she bathed in her tears.
Once she got out she was still crying. We had all already calmed down by that point and could care less about the fact that she read the script. We were asking her what’s wrong? Like you’re okay??
Apparently she thought that she was a dissappointment to her parents and that she ruined our weekend. We reassured her, she stopped crying, and we all laughed about it.
Long story short, never read a whole movie script because this was an emotional ride.
