barty jr x narcissa PLEASE

stop thats literally what i was thinking i kept trying to write "barty" but it typoed as narty and i was like 👀 oh yeah. i def see them connecting tbh

narcissa has always wanted to be her father's favorite, her father's daughter, because she looked nothing like him, nothing like a black; she was all rosier, and she hated herself for it.

barty was always too soft, had too much of his mother in him; too unfocused, had no drive, no vision. in turn, it wasn't that his father didn’t have time for him: it was that barty crouch senior never made time.

it's also important to consider their age gap: narcissa is at least seven years barty's senior (haha) and dynamics there would definitely be. something

a twenty-something year old narcissa mightve caught barty's eye: having just turned of age, he'd be all alone, and scared...

now in canon, we can assume bellatrix found barty and basically. groomed him into the death eaters. but suppose narcissa seeks him out instead? my father never cared for me either, she might say. barty might say something stupid funny that makes her laugh: he might say something terrifyingly intelligent an hour later and leave her with whiplash. and narcissa might like that.

fascinated by him, narcissa might be pulled in like a moth (haha hi moth) to a flame... and barty, who has never really been loved, might be glad to have her in his orbit.

and this isnt even MENTIONING what might happens if lucius gets involved

i lowk haven't even gotten into the proper dynamics of their relationship but ill leave it here bc i dont want this to get long but rest assured i CAN go on and wld LOVE to go on
