💙 Her favourite character is Ted, her second favourite was the Professor until act 2

💙 She thought the opening was hilarious

🎶 She got a kick out of Let Him Come

💙 She really enjoyed Emma staying in character at the end

BLACK FRIDAY

💚 Her favourite character is General John MacNamara

💵 She said she’d have to go back and listen to the songs again to pick a favourite

💚 She was surprisingly good at recognizing each actor (it took me personally way too long to recognize Sherman or Ethan on my first watch)

💵 I had her guess what was happening during Deck The Halls (Of Northville High School) and it confused the shit out of her but she thought it was funny once it was explained

💚 She also liked the TGWDLM characters coming out at the end during What If Tomorrow Comes, but she didn’t like how they all get blown up at the end (after I explained what happened with the lights out)

💵 She also enjoyed Wiggly’s laugh

overall she really liked it so I’m very happy! She said she’d rewatch both, would love to see a show live, and can’t pick a favourite between them. She’d also like to watch more of their stuff. She told me that she’s been seeing shows at her local theatre for 30 years and none of them are as good as these :)

when u bring up trans ppl my 95 year old grandma will be like “wow you know, when I was a kid no one could be like that, I’m so glad more people can be themselves these days” so dont let anyone pretend that ppl can’t confront their biases just because they grew up in the wrong time or place. people can and should learn at any age, it isnt an excuse for bigotry

my grandma insisted on reading my fortune from coffee and she was telling me how she was the main fortune teller at her job and how it actually got her special treatment and when we were done she said don’t let yourself be fooled by anyone remember that your grandma always lied
