Coming of age stories are often about the horrors of losing yourself, your childhood, the person you once were and the struggles of embracing aspects of adulthood. Adult problems, losing structure, being alone, finding where you belong, being responsible for yourself, and making stupid mistakes with what feels like the weight of the world on your shoulders because it’s your first time being here and doing this.
