Weird (?) thing i do

Whenever I play earthbound and I get to the spot where you wait behind the waterfall for three minutes, I always try to speed-eat a bowl of cereal (and I usually fail lmao)

I'm wondering what other people do when they get to this part because I haven't seen much conversation about this before
