The man in front of him (from behind) looked remarkably like Vetis. So, thinking it was Vetis, Grian grabbed who he was sure was the smaller demon and pressed a kiss to his temple, only to notice it wasn’t Vetis at all, and he immediately pulled away with raised hands. “Uh, w—uh, sorry, sir. Mistaken identity! Right, um…I’m gong to go.”

With that, he turned on his heel and walked away from the stranger with a very red face and vermilion ears.
