He enters the shop nose first, out of curiosity. The cafe held by an elderly pair he frequents is nearby and thats how he ends up making his way in through these doors as well. 

He walks to the counter leaning close towards the samples, nose still sniffing intently. Only once someone walks out from the back does Ogata straighten up.

“ .... “ 

And yet says nothing.

“Oh, hello there. Do you, er, do you know what there is to.. eat around here? I can’t.. read any of these signs.”

She admits, rubbing her hands together nervously. Jeanne wasn’t sure how to say it any other way. She was stuck in a strange place and she couldn’t read any of this to save her life. Which, given that she was starting to get hungry and couldn’t figure out the money system... Well, that was an inevitability she needed to correct quickly.

Rush found himself inside a bakery near the university. While normally he wasn’t one to go snooping around such quaint little shops, largely because they had nothing to offer to his work, the scent and an empty stomach had drawn him inside. 

Even the most focused of scientists needed to eat sometime. What not something from a charming little bakery? 

“Hello?” He called gently, though it was hard not to sound just a little impatient every time he spoke. Even his scottish accent couldn’t completely hide his someone arrogant personality, “is anyone there?”

Pathetic. 

This place was absolutely pathetic and it sickened Seto. Not only did they have the audacity to bring him here, they had the gall to take all of his tech and replace his deck with.. whatever the hell this was. 

He tossed the cards aside, watching them scatter to the wind. He returned his attention to the toy duel disk they’d given him. Fine, he could make this into a proper one with enough care. Dismantle a few toasters, find some cheap tablets, and he’d have a working one in the span of a month. All he was worried about now was the cards. 

“You. Is Duel Monsters not a thing wherever we are?”
