America

America. Is in a state of prolonged terror, frozen in shock. This is truly happening. President Trump is....president.  Gazing back in a haze and slowly startling, like from a dream. Trump is here. Everyone from coast to coast watches, waiting for the axe to fall. Cling to every piece of bad news, hoping it will be the last. But it isn’t.  America sits, traumatized, horrified and numb.  But as the haze begins to clear and the gaze hardens, sharpens like flint and cuts to the bone of the matter--we will make a decision to either regress into total despair and collapse or to rise up--quietly at first, gathering information--building a loyal network. The more information travels, the more power exchanged, the larger we become. More solid. Stronger. More here instead of trapped in our own heads. To truly find out if you’d sacrifice yourself for a cause.  And we entrench ourselves because to dedicate to resistance is to be endured, persevered and challenged.  The coal is lit, the ember rekindles as the haze begins to clear. Open your eyes to the flame. Let it sharpen, become aware of those who stand with you. The majority of Americans who did not vote for Trump and who are ready and willing to put up their dukes and find out what they’ve got. 

The next four years loom ahead, a tunnel of the deadlights. Scorch the darkness away.
