Am the only one who get predatory vibes from good/basic Jerry? Him wanting put Morty on leash, "He was mine", like its his son he's talking about even the guy from administration point out how weird is that. Why Morty is groomed and abused by every adult around him, let my boy rest for a minute.

so, we have:

confirmation that morty shares his eyes with rick(blue)

rick is a cat person! while morty is a dog person

the chart was right. rick's happiness does not correlate with morty's. they both make the other worse (even if it's not intentional) and yet choose eachother every single time.

garage being the place belonging to the head of the family. in basic universe it's jerry's, in our dimension it's rick's.

rick holds jerry back. otherwise he would've become an american psychopath variant.

mort was DEFINITELY emotionally and sexually abused. "he was mine", "im gonna put a leash on the boy" is not very normal parental things to say. he's bound to be groomed in every universe

The subtitles called them ‘good Jerry’ etc so I’m inclined to believe that’s the ‘canon’ name. However, I get why people would call them basic, especially since a Rick calls that Rick ‘a basic Rick’. I get ‘MIT Rick’, but that doesn’t really work for the whole family.
