Nurse education
So, medical professionals have props they practice things on. Cpr dummies, arms for infusion, things like that.
While getting out of the car one day, my mom goes, "Cmon, Janet" to seemingly nothing. After having Chester Chest and Presston ride with us, i could guess that Janet was another such prop. So i asked, "Another one?"
And she stops... looks hesitantly into her bag for a second... and says, "...its part of Janet. Im teaching a class how to put in catheters. We have Janet, and we have Joey, but Joey's seem to go missing, for some reason."
My mother's tools of the trade are disembodied cooches and dicks named Janet and Joey the Genitals.
And the Joeys get stolen.
My name is George.
Sometimes I have chest pain,
Sometimes I can't breathe,
Sometimes my tummy aches,
Sometimes I wheeze.
Today, I helped enhance the skills of health professionals from the Philippines, Hungary, Albania, Tanzania and India.
Sometimes I bleed.
CPR practice!
second week of medical school complete 💫 we finished today with a Basic Life Support mass training session, including practicing several times in medical practice dummies, wich was the coolest thing I have ever learnt how to do. I know now how to perform CPR, which reminded me of that hilarious first aid Office scene.
Yet another reason to work out:
CPR is fucking exhausting and you can do a better job providing CPR and other basic life supports if you have more cardio endurance and strength.
