Hi my name is Joo and I’m a korean girl in korea and I just wanted to respond to an ask that someone asked if it’s taboo to date foreigners especially ones with dark skin. It’s definitely still a taboo and many will judge you for it. Tbf dark skin foreigners in general are a tiny minority in korea and have a harder time living here than let’s say a white foreigner. Korea is a lot less welcoming of having foreigners living here sadly

So far I've been lucky enough to have a pretty good experience here so far. People have been nice to me which is good. I know its gonna be different depending on the area you're in and who you happen to meet. But I've heard stories of what some people have gone through here and how people have treated them or just the assumptions made about them and as sad as it is, eh I'm used to sticking out and intrusive questions and honestly its nice that so far the store staff don't follow me around because they think I'm stealing. North America ain't all that great

oops I haven't been on Tumblr recently...

so I met Take That twice on Monday, first at Radio 2, and then at the album signings

but at Radio 2 I gave Mark a bracelet I made saying "marko" and I said "will you wear it at the signings?" and he said "i love it! i'm gonna wear it now" and we got a selfie and I tried not to cry

and then at the signings as I got closer to him I fell on the floor because he was wearing my bracelet...honestly it was such a big deal to me, it was so sweet of him idek

and i did some artwork for each of them (i wouldn't say drawings because it was more dot work with watercolour infused) and mark absolutely loved it, his voice went all high pitched and eshajfhcjns and he made us get a picture of him holding it and then he kissed my cheek and thanked me a lot, and howard equally loved it and in our picture it looks like we're going clubbing

and then gary barlow called me "very talented"
