scorch marks and embers. 94k, angst with a happy ending, tension, mystery, drama, action. 4x7 canon divergence where gaius dies, merlin is bitter and disillusioned, and arthur is desperate to fix things. literally the most slow-burny dramatic magic reveal i’ve written in my life gdfhk

outrun man’s long shadow. 12.5k, hurt/comfort, angst with a happy ending. 5x13 role reversal where merlin throws himself in front of mordred’s sword, and arthur has to rush a dying merlin to avalon in time. so naturally a great time for a magic reveal ;)

sunset yellow. 3.5k, fluff, humour, romance, regency au. arthur is a gentleman’s son but he’s smitten by gwen the seamstress and makes an utter fool of himself <3

smaller oneshots:

ignite your fear. 1.5k, angst with a happy ending. 5x1 canon divergence magic reveal where merlin reveals his magic after realising destiny is a little bit of a stress factor in his life :)

at night you could hear its cries. 0.8k, angst. just some lonely s5 merlin Thoughts i’m sory

I feel sorry for the old man, but it was stealing. There is no apparently about it. Water is not free, it’s not a right to have it, and people pay must pay for it. If a government gives a thing to you like utilities, its still not free because they take it from somewhere else, like in taxes.

This is the problem. Conservatives assume everyone is like them but with different priorities. They think the opposite of authoritarianism is queer authoritarianism, and the opposite of colonialism is the colonial oppression of white people. It doesn't occur to them that people who aren't on top of an oppressive regime could want anything other than to be on top of an oppressive regime.
