a coord to go to an antique fair and have lunch today! breakdown under the cut (plus commentary) 💕
i was soooooo excited to wear this dress today, it was a gift from my beloved partner and it’s even more dreamy in person than i could have hoped! it’s great to start introducing more colours into my wardrobe slowly, but the nice thing about it is that the pink flowers in the print mean i can still coord it with my existing pink accessories too.
i did buy a few accessories recently though, including the green bow hair combs im wearing which match perfectly! of course, the best part of my order was actually the box it all came in, since the cat has now claimed it for herself. who cares about accessories when there’s a perfectly sized box to sit in? (it should be noted that i am looking at her in that photo on the left!)
i took these after coming home; i’m always so amused to see how lived in and rumpled my clothes look after a day out vs. how neat and put together everything is before leaving the house! ironing/steaming out the wrinkles in some of these pieces is sooo tedious though; luckily the jsk is made of a really nice thick cotton which doesn’t crease too easily, but that underskirt with all of its tiers is like pushing a boulder uphill! even if i get the wrinkles out, all i have to do is sit down for 30 seconds and it’ll be as though i never even tried. i’ve made peace with it!
