One of the biggest missed opportunities in The Mandalorian series is there were no Basilisk War Droids.
The right and privilege of piloting one, back in the day, was amongst the highest of honours in Mandalorian culture, with the only honour higher than that being chosen as the new Mand'alor.

An absolutely horrid doodle from 4am but it was applicable to what happened last night. Yes that's a Basilisk war droid. Yes his name is Spike.
Basilisk War Droids were customized droid mounts used by the ancient Mandalorians. They were of animal intelligence and served as heavily armed and armored mounts for battle. Typically, a Mandalorian warrior would plunge from the atmosphere on a droid into the fray.
