Testing: 1, 2, 3
So Wednesday and Thursday they finally put me through the quality aptitude test for my department. What that consisted of was I had to sit down with a suitcase full of the diabetic pen components we manufacture. Each component had 10 parts in a plastic bag within the suitcase. Some of said components were fine, but others were purposely defective. And it was my job to spot the defects. Some you didn’t even have to take out of the bag to see that there were damage to them, but others, you had to really go over the part with a fine tooth comb to notice something wrong with them. I showed a couple of the defects to the technicians (the guys who fix the machines when something major goes wrong) one night, when they had some down time. I think they gained an appreciation for how tedious my job can be at times. X’D They couldn’t even see some of the stuff wrong with some of the parts. I’ll know what I did well on and what I need to work on this coming week. *Fingers crossed*
Oh man, and the NCAA’s are CRAZY right now! I’ve posted more about them on Facebook than here lately, but to recap: On the left side of the bracket we have 2 #1′s vs. #2 scenarios, and on the right side, we have the ACC Tournament: Part 2. Yeah, UNC whalloped Indiana last night 101-86! :D You’d better believe I’m happy! We face Notre Dame tomorrow, and no matter what, there will be 2 ACC teams in the Final Four. This just goes to show how strong of a conference it was this year!
As for travels, I think I’d like to do some long distance traveling on Sunday, but stay in the local area and get some pictures today...later on. Also, note to self, dad’s birthday is this Monday, so get him something nice! Archer you rest! You’ve earned it! Thoughts complete.
The hiatus is probably because of March Madness (which is college basketball)
That makes sense.
