“Selector of infectious dance grooves and an endless, uplifting vibe.”
Never afraid to go too popular or underground, DJ Bassick's musical selections are his own therapy. After growing up around Michigan roller rinks, drumlines, and underground punk shows, these diverse experiences helped to develop his love for sweet voices, undeniable hooks, and endless grooves.
Today, he focuses on hand-picked sets and slices together all the pieces of music that he loves best: infectious drums, huge basslines, sexy vocals and popular samples of days past.
As a producer, drummer, and educator, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. "For me, it’s all about finding that next amazing tune and complimenting it with another… I think people are always looking for ways to personalize their musical experiences.
Bassick can be found on Grant Nelson’s “D3EP Radio Network”. He holds a weekly residency every Friday night at 6pm EST. You can find more about Bassick and his latest tracks at http://www.soundcloud.com/djbassick
