There was a laugh. “You were half way up the rope, gave up and kinda fell. Quite ungracefully, by the way.” Climbing up things and jumping down from them were second nature to the wolf-girl, so the whole situation was hilarious. She leant down and smiled at Sawyer. “I think you’re a little out of practise. Good luck next time.”

She could have smacked the meat-boy. “Then don’t touch it!” Homo sapiens didn’t heal like they did, so she panicked. Moon’s sake, she thought, looking the human’s broken arm over. Usually, changing helped boost the healing process, but this boy lacked her amazing gift. “What did you even do? Fall off a roof or something?”

          “Hey, so I’m having this argument with this friend of mine and I need            another person’s opinion. Which is better; cotton candy or ice cream?”

     That friend he’s referring to is the voice in his head, don’t mind him.

Why would one want to listen to a teacher go on about something when one could be outside, enjoying the sunlight, sights and smells of day? The loup-garou questioned this, but listened half-heartedly to her teacher as he went on.

The time came to write, and due to Vivian using her pen to draw on the paper before her, her pen had run dry. She sighed and looked for another, but she didn’t have any on her.

She leant forward and gently tapped the meat-boy in front of her and gave him one of her smiles. “You have a spare pen I can borrow?”
