Tried a MHA oc. Ignore the weird looking hands and legs...
Hihi! I think requests are open so! I was wondering if you could do Dabi with a Vigilante-Turned-Villain reader? Their quirk is a mutation one that gives them the features and abilities of a bat! They have pretty bad eyesight and use echolocation to get around usually! I don't mind what you write, it's up to you!! <3!
Of course! This was actually really cute to write. Thanks for the request! I apologize that this is so late! Enjoy :)
Relationship: Dabi/Touya Todoroki x Female Reader
Fandom: My Hero Academia
Warnings: Mentioning of killing other villains, doing good things but bad things at the same time, mentioning of family getting murdered, some fluff :)

For most people, losing sight is like the end of the world. What can you do with no eyesight? As scared as they are, I’ve never thought of it to be a fear since I was born with it. It’s not that I can’t see at all, it’s just blurry. Color is visible, but details are not. Glasses are no way in line of help for this problem. And I’ve gotten used to it.
After years of bullying, parents getting murdered, I’ve learned to protect myself. And with the right teacher, I was taught to protect others, as well. Well, I do more of hurting the ones who have wronged than protecting the innocent. Either way, I’m still a criminal. A villain.
As much as I dislike villains, as long as I leave them alone, they do the same. Although not much can be said about the famous villain Dabi. I somehow got his attention, when I’ve tried to keep a down low about my identity. Instead, I found Dabi at my door. First he was asking for my help, and in return, he’d help me with targets. I declined, of course. It would make my life much more complicated if I got involved with another villain. But he ended up threatening me, so I had no choice but to help him out.
A couple years later, we’re like two peas in a pod. Granted, he can still be annoying, but it’s tolerable. When we first worked together, basically he was stalking me as I took care of a target he got information about for me, he was amazed at my quirk. You would think being blind wouldn’t do much for you. But with my bat-like quirk, it's like taking candy from a baby. Echolocation works wonders. With each sound that I echo, I can determine where someone is, or what they are doing.
I was surprised at how close we have gotten. Dabi isn’t someone to care for people, I knew that, but there was a time that surprised me and himself.
“You took care of the villain by yourself?” He sounded angrier than his usual calm self. I nodded, nonetheless. No point in lying to him. “I thought I told you to wait for me? He was a strong opponent.” Although he was angry, he never once raised his voice.
“I can handle myself. You already know that.”
“Yeah? And what if you couldn’t? What if he killed you? Without you in my life, I have nothing to live for.” The way his body jolted told me he surprised himself with his own words. And I knew the meaning behind those last words. He cared about my well-being.
This time…this time it was more meaningful. As strong as I am, I underestimated a target. Dabi came in to save my life just in time. Now, I sit on Dabi’s bed, bandages covering my body.
“Did you really have to take me into your home?” I ask the approaching man. His footsteps stop next to the bed.
“Why am I surprised you could tell it was my apartment?” He states, rather bored.
“The smell. Your home smells like you.”
He chuckles, moving around the bed to the other side. “Can you see out the window?” He refers to the way I'm facing. Towards the open window closest to me.
“Just barely. It’s…blurry. But I can see birds.”
“Hear them, more like.” His hand lands on top of my head. It didn’t move, just staying in one place. “How are you feeling?”
With a sigh, I reluctantly tell him. “Horrible. But who am I to complain when you saved my life?”
He scoffs. “Don’t make things mushy. I already did that once, and it was embarrassing for both of us.”
I laugh, remembering the moment clearly. “Hmm. Then, I’ll keep complaining.”
“Yeah…sounds more like you.”
Another aesthetic for my bat boy Sakan~🤍🦇
Bat Quirk
You have large bat wings which you can fly with and bat ears so that you can hear very good. Through your good hearing you can use echolocation and can talk and control bats. Hanging upside also won’t be a problem to you because blood won’t flow into your head. If your parts of your quirk ( wings or ears ) get cut of they will grow back but they will take a few weeks or so.
Drawbacks:
At night you’re awake and you have to sleep at daytime. The sun is also very dangerous for you because you get sunburns very easily and if you stare into the sun for too long you get blind so when you have to be outside at day you have to make sure to wear sunglasses and use sunscreen. Because of the good hearing your ears are also sensitive.
Meet Gold Finch and Habiki. two characters from this really nice bnha fic called “A stone skip away” written by @katless!
“A normal day out turns dark when one of their own is taken in the midst of battle with no way of knowing what happened to him or who had taken him.All the while, Kirishima would discover what it was truly like to meet real monsters in human skin.“
This is only a fraction of all the cool original characters that you can find in the story so go check it out! These two were my favs design-wise which is why I just had to draw them ^^
Btw Habiki, the bat-boy, has a scar on his face, it doesn’t show up very well but you can see it if you zoom in
Slowly figuring out his hero costume 🥲💜
Someone's got a crush bigger than his ears 👀
