Went to my local zoo today and took a few pictures (plenty of cool animals but no bats unfortunately)

Victoria Crowned Pigeon (Goura victoria)

The largest extant (currently living) species of pigeon in the world, this species of pigeon has stunning red eyes.

Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus)

All cheetahs are so closely related to each other that a skin graft from one individual will be accepted by another. They are this closely related because of multiple genetic bottlenecks in the past leading to a less genetically diverse population.

Malayan Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris)

Malayan tigers are members of a very specific population of a subspecies of P.t. tigris that come from peninsular Malaysia, in particular the southern and central parts of the peninsula.

They are called harimau in Malay, or rimau if in a hurry.

Binturong (Arctictis binturong)

The binturong, also known as the bearcat, is a cat-like mammal native to south and southeast Asia that smells like popcorn or corn chips.

Red Panda (Ailurus fulgens)

Unrelated to the Giant panda, the Red Panda is an adorable bamboo-eating mammal native to eastern Himalaya and southwestern China.

A few years ago, one of the red pandas at this zoo disappeared and was never found. Ever since, there have been red panda sightings in the area near the zoo.

Orangutan (genus Pongo)

Orangutans were originally thought to be a singular species of great ape that lives in the rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia, but DNA analysis has revealed that they are actually multiple species and subspecies, and some individuals in zoos (like Snitz and Pepper) are hybrids between these species and subspecies.

No trip to the zoo would be complete without a trip to the gift shop. Luckily for me, the zoo may not have bats in their care but the gift shop still has bat-themed stuff. Today I got a couple of 3d printed fidget toys in the shape of bats. The brand is 3rd Street Studio, and they have a website where you probably can get your own bat (or other little critters, they have quite the collection to choose from).

Can anyone help me? I’m trying to find out what company made this.. dog-bat toy. Not sure if this helps but he has a heart on his butt and for some reason I named him ponatina (not sure if that’s how you spell it). Also I’m in Australia if that helps

The toy company is called lil peepers and this type of bat toy is called Edward (but I’m going to keep calling mine Ponatina), I’m so glad I found it but I should probably be asleep rn lol.

Found an old toy I used to play with when I was younger! It used to be my favorite toy to play with, even my sister recalls need holding it all the time.

Not sure what character he is though. I'll ask my dad when he comes home from work.

God I remember all the stupid things I did with this toy.

Also yes, my workspace is messy, had to move my computer 'cause water started dripping onto one part of my table.
