i... genuinely tried. i know it didn't come off right, but i did try. i tried to talk to belle, we just had fuck all in common. i tried to do the right thing, i just had a... flawed viewpoint. i tried to be the hero, i just didn't know the other side of the story. can you really blame me for seeing a beast and thinking belle was in danger? yes i did it selfishly, but belle made the very same assumption when first meeting him. ~gaston
