Do they have a good relationship with their family?
Scarlet: “No this again…*sighs* My dad was a great man…I remember when I was girl whenever I got sad... He gets me some ice cream for dinner and tell his best jokes to cheer me up. He’s works a lot and but he always has time for me…
Sometimes I wish we could spend more time together…
As for my mother… I barely see her…
She’s not easy going like my dad. She’s always strict and expect so much from me in school. I used to hate her but now I’m not so sure
Me and my dad used to lived in San Francisco. She always traveling to New York for some reason. She always gets us some souvenirs and tickets to see some Broadway musical…I never fan with musicals.
Suddenly... She stopped visit us when I was 8.
Dad says that she’s busy with her work and she loves us no matter what… Yeah Right…
She still lives in New York… After all these years I didn’t bother contact her.. I don’t NEED HER…”
“… but I still miss her… and dad too…”
Scarlet: “Why both made my life to be so complicated”
A feeling like no other, so welcoming and yet unwanted. That is all I felt throughout my years working under my father’s work. Taking the warm of other families, and they did the same in return.
Mista Drew, the king of the rest of the others.
Walt.
Warner.
Flechier.
Et tu, Brothers? Were his final words... When...
They took HIM away!
I was young, round eight I believe when I the three corner Drew into a corner.
BANG!
BANG!!
BANG!
I always hated that sound when it it rung, but ADORED it when I did pull that trigger. And what those boss men did, I returned the favor.
Sure-- It did take a few years, but through it all was worth it. Dearest Walt was crushed between concrete walls, Warner buried alive, and Flechier-- Well... Let’s say he saw the fires of Hell.
As of now, 1935 never looked so clever. It has been twenty years since Drew had past his red tailored hat to me. And I wear it proudly. Keeping the growing city in Sunny Cali never felt so good. Such power and control over the will of the government. Including the people.
Man, I felt like a king! All it needed was a queen.
Sure, there was Alice-- But she left a few years ago and I never heard from her. Sweet Angel that joined Drew and crew a few years after. Having being his assistant, she did what she was told and never talked back. Seem like oppression gotten the best of her, and took it out on me.
Pfft-- Wretched Angel...
Whatever she was at, to hell with her.
Boris was my wingman, loyal wolf was willing to comply to my words. Even fixed whatever was put in front of him. I swear, Norman (when he was still around) taught the pup everything he knew. Heh, don’t have to pay for a handyman-- Got me a handy-wolf.
The rest, Barley, Charlie, and Edgar-- Just disposing bodies when it was needed. Sammy, ran my nightclub and played piano on occasion with Susie who dance and sung (replacing Alice’s position). Henry since left... Don’t know the reason. He didn’t like it when i took over, saying I was worst than Drew.
I take that as a compliment.
For now, I was just missing one thing that my father Drew had. An assistant. Someone to light the cig to holding your side when you shoot your enemy in the head. I did just fine a few years, but that cold feeling returned again. I needed that away before things get worse.
Wally-- My intell man said there was a ship coming in with tons of new fresh folks. It seem to be my lucky day then.
I finally get to be warm again.
Wish me luck there pops, I’m gonna be bigger than YOU.
The town bustled here and there when it did, as it was slowly growing. Ever since the Gold Rush hit, everything was going uphill here in Cali. Once open spaces where being constructed into cities, and populated by people and toons alike.
Well, toons had started to make a boom back in New York thanks to Flechier with Bimbo and Betty Boop, and soon more follow after. In creating the Mouse and gang by Walt, and the Loony Toons of Warner-- Then came Drew and Bendy and Friends.
Sure-- They seem like any bunch of toons, but they were created a bit differently. Wish I could share you the details, but things are on the complicated side ever since Drew died.
When toons and creators wanted more out of their day jobs of creating entertainment, the night was running the town like a puppet. Taking what money they could scrap, and any alcohol to drink. Gambling grew and private jots rose with these syndicates. Scaring the public through and through that they were soon relocated.
To Cali they shall go! the Mayor protests No longer shall these studios run circles ‘round us! Take them West!
So went the studios, relocated-- Well most of them. During that time, the bigger studios had taken down Drew. Leaving Bendy and gang to relocated on their own. But-- Not before the Dancin’ Demon giving the axe (literally) to Flechier, since it was his idea.
1935
There was a train coming through Los Angeles with some new people to take in to work. A perfect opportunity for the Mafia Boss to recruit some new goons to work for him. Though-- Glad he’d figured it out it was a TRAIN and not a ship. Honestly detail from intel isn’t as reliant as it use to be.
With only the stripped suit on his inky self, Bendy took himself on his own accord to the station. Cranking up his own car and drove himself to catch up with the train. He could imagine all the tall, muscular men that he could hire. To protect him when he gambles or when making deals. It sent shivers down his spine (if he even had one, so flexible like a hose).
Maybe even get a couple of new dancers too. Women from the East were more attractive than here in the West. No offense, Bendy grew accustom to his old home more than here.
Once the demon got to the station (and after parking), Bendy steps himself out. Adjusting his bow tied collar and struts himself to the transportation platforms. The hustle and bustle of patrons was overwhelming to most people, but didn’t trouble him. It was rather a refreshing sight to see and be apart of, reminded him of home so much. The bumping of shoulders to the shout of profound language just brought a grin on his face. Though, Bendy couldn’t get into any of the action anymore for now he was taller than everyone else (about six foot and six inches to be exact).
“This is just too much, what is all the fuss ‘bout?” Bendy asks to himself as he squints to see the new meat push itself through the crowd. As he tries to find someone to pick out to hire.
‘Everyone just looks the same...’ He thinks to himself annoyed as he slides himself through through the shoulders of others, that were just annoyed at him.
His efforts seem fruitless until a tan sun hat with a purple bow ban caught his eye. They seem to pop out from the dull browns and muted colors everyone else was wearing. Seems that this one had some money in their pockets. Bendy moves himself closer to catch who they identify as, the demon trips over a cage of an angry cat and lands front first. In front of the person that he saw at first glance.
“Are you alright sir...?” A female voice asks as she holds out her white glove hand to Bendy.
Now he could get a better look at who this person was, and was now helping him. Her wavy chocolate hair flowed down her shoulders, with a white scarf that covered most of her neck down to her chest. Tucked in by a velvety violet trench coat dress in black heels.
“Yes, thank you.” Bendy replies as he takes his sharpen fingers and squeezes the woman’s hand, pulling himself up. As she helps along willingly.
"You didn’t need to do such a thing. I could have gotten myself up.”
The woman just flashed a smile, placing her hand over her mouth. Giving a slight giggle.
“Well, I can’t help myself in helping others Mister...” She trails off, not knowing his name.
“Bendy, Bendy The Dancin’ Demon-- Owner of Drew Studios and CEO of Silly Vision...” He says what PART of his job. Though from his get-up said otherwise.
“Aaaand Mafia bossman too?” The woman asks, to which that slightly surprised the demon.
“Yes-- I guess my suit is a DEAD give away?” He asks in a cocky tone, grinning as he leans to one side and pops his collar.
To which in turn, the woman gave another hand covered giggle.
“Mmhm. Well I’m Paige. I came from Texas looking for work.” She explains who she was and where she was from.
“I use to work as a waitress at the local diner in my hometown, but needed a bit more excitement in my life. So I’ve moved here, looking for work.”
“A waitress huh?” Bendy straightens himself up and looks down at Paige. “So you know how to work well in tough situations, and have dealt with people.”
“Yes-- Even the most rude of customers don’t pester me.” Paige responds back, as she smiles. Having a feeling she was being interviewed. Even though this wasn’t the best place to do so. At least no one was bothering the two of them.
“Good, good... I could really use someone like you.” The demon strokes his round chin, flashing a wicked grin.
Every since his secretary Alice Angel left, that position had been left empty (and so was his bedside). Maybe this Paige could fill that empty spot. If she didn’t mind it, from her attitude. It seem just fitting.
“I wouldn’t mind working for you Mister Demon. Even though your line of work could be on the dangerous side...”
“Oh I know, but I’ll have you starting easy. Can’t have a newbie like you taking out gang members just yet.”
“Right right-- So... What would I be doing then?” Paige asks.
“Why--” Bendy leans on next to her, taking her bag with his pen tip tail and wraps an arm around her waist. As he walks her through the crowd to his vehicle. “Being my secretary of crouse! It is the most easiest job to get ‘round here. Just filing papers, doing my dishes, laundry, standing next to me to look pretty, the works.”
It sude seem easy and all sudden as Paige has been dragged into the Demon’s grasp. His words so alluring and charming, that she didn’t see the dangers that came along with it. Unfortunately, it didn’t cross her mind as she was too gleeful to have a job now. Not minding that she had to play maid for this secretary job. Hopefully it pays well.
“Are you sure that I could play this part?” Paige questions the tall demon in question.
“You seem just fit my dear Pai-- Do you mind I call you that? Paige seems a bit... Too much.”
“O-Oh not at all.” Pai replies, sticking to the name.
“Excellent. You and I Pai-- We are going places.”
The two flash each other smiles. As Pai’s was sincere and kind, and for Bendy’s--
