There’s a peculiar kind of ballsiness in using a deadname at EU. A birth name, a legal name, a name the bearer wore and bled for and killed either firmly and unflinchingly or nervously, slowly, strangling it bit by bit over the course of years- it’s not True, and cannot be used as such, but there’s power and presence in that sort of name, should someone be willing to take the carcass of their unself and wear it as protection.

My number of unread messages JUMPED down from 34 to 26, which makes me worry someone blocked me. Which I don’t, for the record, feel as a PERSONAL insult, that’s not the worry, I’m just like- worried they don’t think I like them or have the time of day for them, think they’re important, whatever.

A lot of you waiting on messages are my friends! And if we’re not that close I still wanna read. (It’s more than 34, too, because I KNOW I’ve clicked to dismiss notifications at least a couple times.) I’ve just been having a very nonstop hit-over-the-head-with-work week, and if you see me online but not responding, I apologize. It takes more energy sometimes to message than to just scroll/write/whatever I’m doing but I DO wanna.

so obviously this is something i'd go over with an endo when i get there, but in the interest of curiosity- can t be given subq?? just because i do a lot of subq injections (on animals lol) and i. fucking hate going im when i gotta it takes more effort and like...feels icky while under the skin is so much nicer and easier. (i could get over it but if i didn't have to...) i know it's slower, would that be preferable with t given what i've heard about ups and downs? am i completely off here?

T can easily be given subcutaneously! You just need to get the proper needles for it - and it’ll be slower to inject than IM, but it sounds like you’re fine with that.

Honestly, I just tell people to look it up and read the resources there. They’re already pretty bare-bones, so they shouldn’t be that hard to understand for most folks.

∞ - How did you get into Tumblr?

I remember one of my friends introducing me to it in early high school, and I totally got one of those fancy incomprehensible themes and figured it was mostly a site to post my own original work on - and obviously promptly got, like, no notes or feedback or anything and abandoned it for a while. I think I only really got into Tumblr when people started going out of their way to point out fandom blogs to me, haha, which was mostly Homestuck!
