Battle Hall
My challenge of the Sinnoh Battle Frontier's Battle Hall will begin shortly. The facility had to be closed for repairs over the weekend, but it is now fully operational. As previously noted, I will be utilizing my recently-recalled Torterra, and I have selected to be in the Ground-type battle group. In addition I will be using a... different battle style than I have in the past, as been noted in previous posts. Updates will come as they become relevant.
Battle Hall
I arrived at Hearthome City earlier today. After a short amount of searching, I found the location of the next Battle Frontier Facility, the Battle Hall. Apparently, it's some sort of stuffy type-specialist convention. There's groups for each type of Pokemon, and all the trainers of that type battle in a gauntlet of trainers from another type group. The highest scoring trainer in each group moves on to an elimination tournament, and the winner of that gets the chance to fight the frontier brain. All matches are one-on-one, and are supposed to... emphasize the bond between trainer and pokemon. ... I've been thinking about trying the technique that was suggested to me a few days ago with my Ursaring, in order to try and dispel the problems I've been having... but honestly, at this point I doubt even that will work.

It is an absolute… BITCH.
I’m trying to breed a Dratini with Extremespeed and a Rash nature… I have the Extremespeed set up perfectly.. but I absolutely detest breeding for nature.
And if I hate nature breeding that much, you can imagine my opinions for IV breeding…
But yeah, it’s for Battle Hall tbh… not anything truly competitive or anything. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever get back into that ring while I still have Uni work left to do… or an actual way to log in my DS to the WiFi.
I was gonna go back onto Pokémon online and continue to hone my skills but I have an addictive personality. I didn’t get a very good mark for my last peice of Uni work, which had something to do with me getting the wrong end of the stick about the what needed to be said…

Right the trick here is to beat the Focus Sash pokémon with Extremespeed. I’m not sure pokémon with Ice Shard will be naturally faster than me anyway. The Fire Blast takes down Skarm/Forre/Icetypes/Any other defensive juggernaut. Superpower would just be there for pure coverage value (and makes this Dragonite easily transferable to my Pokémon White game for competitive use). But then I’m not sure what else to use… Outrage for the sheer power? Draco Meteor for the extra use of the 252Spa EV’s?
Smogon seems to think that latter… any thoughts guise?
