Capture the Moment. (Closed Rp with baxsu.)

It was mid-day, and Ellis was the only survivor out of the group of four, oh how he missed everyone, they were like family to him, and it pained him to see them go, but someone had to carry on, and that person was Ellis. Ellis was now on Virgil's boat, on the way to a tropical island where he wanted to take a load off, try to forget the whole apocalypse ordeal and perhaps make a little memorial for his fallen friends. Ellis sat on the boat's back end, staring up at the sky that seemed to be going a mile a minute on Virgil's boat, but the sky seemed so peaceful the whole time. If only the whole world was like this... Ellis then saw the island coming into view, and boy did it look amazing, it was a tropical paradise that seemed to be out of a Hollywood movie, and Ellis was excited to live peacefully for once.

As soon as Virgil pulled up to the island, Ellis hopped off the boat and said his final goodbye to Virgil before heading off to find some food or supplies. As Ellis wandered around, he began to notice some odd things; Screens on palm tree's, signs on the beaches, and he eventually came across what seemed to be a supermarket. Was this place inhabited? It all climaxed as soon as Ellis came across a hotel and a bunch of cottages. Being part of the zombie apocalypse, Ellis then took out a combat shotgun to fend off any zombies if there were any. Ellis then first approached the cottages and knocked on the doors. It turns out these cottages had pictures of the inhabitants on the mailboxes. Ellis first started on a house with someone who had some hair that looked like an antenna, then to a girl with twin pigtails, and so on, but the doors were locked and in case there weren't any zombies, he didn't break down any doors.

He finally approached the final cottage, it had the picture of a girl with a bowl cut. Ellis hadn't seen any girls with a bowl cut before, but nonetheless, he made sure to keep his shotgun up and pointed at the door. Ellis then knocked on the final door. "Hello? Anyone home?" He shouted as he kept his shotgun pointed at the door, Ellis was taking no chances with this.

Echo had a bad feeling today. The smoke in the air seemed a bit thicker than normal. Something about that crossed the masked woman as weird. She decided to make her way to the smoke mines to check on the Elsen, carrying her large hammer on her back. After making her way in, surely, they were all panicking over something. They were saying that they hit a huge pocket of smoke and that the area seemed to be unstable. It was near the exit. On her way to the pocket, the mines rumbled. A loud boom could be heard down the way. It got dark suddenly. A collapse. Echo tried desperately to keep the Elsen calm. Sure enough, some of the Elsen outside heard and went to alert Dedan.
