“Will we ever be together again?” These three couples must be asking. Óscar and Francia are in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Leo and Viviana are in Mexico, while Daniel and Marbella (with Aaron) are in Bogotá, Colombia. Their fourth year internship started out great, now they and we long for them to return to Baxter whenever governments and the virus allow it. “Totally Recommended!” Fourth-year student Francia Oviedo completed this one year intensive course while studying at Baxter. Hundreds in the Americas take this course. Francia and her husband will soon arrive in Buenos Aires, Argentina where they will do their 6 month-internship (PAM). All have ministry job offers. So far all returning students from their 6-month internship, have returned with ministry job offers ... in Colombia, Panama and El Salvador. Such is the case for Francisco, Yahoska, Bianca, Valera and Britany Mayorga who were in Panama. The church fell in love with this dear family, as they evangelized, baptized, taught, and served among them. Now from Colombia once again ... Anthony Yunior Ramos from the Dominican Republic baptizes a woman in Colombia. What a joy to see Baxter Graduates (2016) Milton and Luis Vielman working with Anthony and Geovanni Lara on their PAM, fourth year internship. Mamá checking in on her son. From El Salvador the mother of 4th year student Cesar Ramírez Flores came to Baxter to see her son as he begins his PAM, 5 month internship. Cesar will work at the Mololoa congregation in greater Tegucigalpa. On Campus and Off. The VCOM medical brigade began their day on campus touring the clinic. The 30 med students and teachers from the Spartanburg, SC campus have spent one week conducting brigades in six different communities. Francisco and Yahoska Mayorga and their three sweet daughters have now arrived in Panama to begin their PAM or 5-month internship in the El Valle church. André is packing his bags. He, his younger brother, Kendel, and parents (Edgar and Sucely Huertas) head for Panama this Friday. Edgar and Sucely will be there for their PAM (a 5 month internship). The objective is to gain ministry experience that will prepare them for their full time ministry destination in one year. Internship (PAM) Heredia, Costa Rica Nicaraguan Juan Carlos Valle, Heydi, and Priscilla enjoyed a 5-month internship working with preacher Carlos Ulate and the elders and the Church ar Heredia, Costa Rica. Ulate received the annual Distinguished Christian Award in the May 2018 Baxter lectureship. This internship involved literally every aspect of ministry which is the goal of the program. #baxterpam #baxterinternship (at Heredia, Costa Rica)
