What a Blessed Visit! In 2017 Sebastian Girado graduated from Baxter. He then return to his hometown of Cartagena, Colombia, but along the way (at Baxter) he met Abigail, his future wife. They work together as a wonderful team serving, ministering, evangelizing, and preaching for the church in Cartagena. They too find themselves sheltering in the US with hopes of returning to Colombia in January. Please pray for them as they look for support to continue their work there. Exciting News! We just got word from Sergio Monroy that he too will be joining the student body this month. His brother, Mike, is on the left and began at Baxter in January. Sergio had applied much earlier but was held up while he finished his studies for a law degree. What a joy to see Baxter Graduates (2016) Milton and Luis Vielman working with Anthony and Geovanni Lara on their PAM, fourth year internship. National meeting of young people in Colombia "D I F E R E N T E 2 0 1 9" Reporting from Colombia Oscar Alvarez shares, “On January 4, the church of Christ in Sub Bogota, planted by a missionary Baxter mission team, hosted a wonderful national youth retreat. More than 200 attendees gathered to praise God and learn from the word of God. It was reuniting with friends, laughter, games, sports, and a talent show. What a blessing to also have brothers from Honduras, El Salvador, Venezuela, Guatemala, Ecuador, and Dominican Republic; many of them were graduates of the Baxter. Baxter Team Sends More Students. The Iglesia de Cristo en Suba, Bogotá, Colombia was established by team of Baxter graduates more than a decade ago. They sent Baxter an excellent student Cristian Niño who graduated in 2016; they sent us yesterday the couple and their sweet daughter, Deisi and Jhon James González Ramírez.
