Okay so Bayliss is such a stupid fucker like really

In his head he’s all “ooh I’m a really cool, broody private detective type and I’m super smart.” And within the first half of chapter 1 he has already:

• made a wrong assumption about a person’s relationship to an individual (not good detective work)

• accidentally killed the wrong person (bad fallen angel work)

• gets hit with a baseball bat (he deserved it) and instead of being all stotic and unfeeling, cos yknow he’s an angel, he like “Ow! What the fuck!”
