Rare Pair Week

The BBC Merlin Rare Pair Fest is thrilled to announce the Rare Pair Week, aimed specifically at artists, gif-makers, and otherwise creatives!

As classical prompt-fests the way we are running it tend to focus on fics, we decided to add a week to give this fandom’s great visual artists of any kind some time to shine. Digital/traditional art, gifsets, moodboards, crochet, whatever you can think of is more than welcome!

The event will run in the week before posting for the fest starts, and you can find the daily prompts below. We count any ship/gen relationship that is not Merlin/Arthur as rare for the sake of the event; poly ships including them are more than welcome, though.

Of course, artists/giffers/etc. are still highly encouraged to leave and/or claim prompts.

When the feared sorceress Morgana's wickedness is revealed to have been exacerbated by a poisonous mind charm at the hands of her sister, Morgause, Camelot becomes the unwitting host to the last of the High Priestesses of the Old Religion. She is not to be trusted out and about the citadel, and so must be placed under constant watch. Who better to assign, then, than Camelot's First Knight himself?

Leon has missed the Lady Morgana, he can admit, and as the years belie the changes they both have undergone, they find themselves hovering much closer to friends than to hostage and guard. And in truth, there might be more to both of them than they initially cared to admit.
