BACON, BACON, BACON...I did it, made my very 1st own bacon!! Wooooooooooo!! Unbelievably tasty. Making your own bacon is a game changer!! I purchased a small piece of pork belly. I seasoned it with pepper, salt and Maple Savoury BBQ Rub from @dicksonbbq and mixed it all with maple syrup. I placed it in a ziplock bag for 9 days, (most pros say 7 days, but I've been busy). I rinsed off the salt and pat dry. On the smoker until it it 160F. and it's Tasty Tuzi Time!
